How do I sign up to TikTok for Artists?

TikTok for Artists (TT4A) is a platform designed to help artists gain insights into how their music is performing and how audiences are engaging with it on TikTok. Artists can also use TT4A to run pre-release campaigns for upcoming tracks and connect directly with TikTok’s support team for assistance with their account, songs, or campaigns.

NOTE: As of July 2025, TikTok for Artists does not currently offer a central label account with a full roster view, access is provided on an artist-by-artist basis. For labels, access to an artist’s analytics and campaign tools is managed and granted by the artist themselves. Once an artist has joined TikTok for Artists, they can then invite you to their Artist Team to share access.

 

Signing up as an Artist

If you are an artist who is in an eligible territory and your account is certified as an Artist Account (with a music tab on your profile page), you can sign up:

  1. Go to TikTok for Artists and click the 'Get Started' button in the top right corner.
  2. Select 'I'm an artist' and then click 'Sign up with TikTok'.
  3. Log into your TikTok Artist Account.
  4. Accept the request to link your account with a TikTok Business Account and click 'Continue' (this is just in order to provide you analytics access, and will not change your TikTok account to a TikTok for Business account).

You can now enter TikTok for Artists and access your data. 

 

Inviting an Artist Team Member

Once you have signed up as an artist, you can invite your team (e.g. managers, labels, data analysts, etc) to join your Artist Team:

  1. In TikTok for Artists, click your profile icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select 'Manage team'.
  3. Under 'Action', click 'View' on your team.
  4. Click the 'Invite member' button, adding their name, business email, and access level.

Those team members will then receive an email and can accept your invite to join your Artist Team.

 

Accepting an Artist Team Member invite

If you are a manager for an artist or work on their team, as long as the artist has signed up and the artist team has been created, the artist can invite you to join their Artist Team:

  1. Once the artist has invited you to their Artist Team, click the invitation link in the email.
  2. Sign up as an Artist Team Member, providing an email and password.
  3. You will receive a verification code via email. Enter the verification code to log in.
  4. Accept the invitation to join their Artist Team.

You will then be redirected back to TikTok for Artists.
