How do I remove an incorrect release from my Spotify profile?
If releases by another artist with the same name have been added to your Spotify artist profile, you can request a correction using the Content Mismatch tool in Spotify for Artists.
How do I remove an incorrect release in my 'Upcoming' section?
If you notice a release that doesn't belong to you in the 'Upcoming' section of Spotify for Artists, you can report it before it goes live by following these steps:
- Navigate to the Music tab in Spotify for Artists on the web, then select Upcoming to view all scheduled releases associated with your artist profile.

Click the ... menu next to the upcoming release that does not belong to your artist.
- Select Report Incorrect Release. This opens the Content Mismatch form with the album URI already populated. You can also search for other upcoming releases by album name or URI that do not belong to your profile.
- Complete the required information and submit the report.
Spotify will send you an email confirmation once your submission has been received.
