Spotify for Artists helps artists and labels get the most out of Spotify by understanding their audiences, customising artist profiles, and growing their fanbases. Labels can access features such as album-level analytics, playlist pitching, Campaign Kit tools, Canvas and Clips uploads, and more. Multiple team members can be added, and the Activity page tracks actions taken by your team.

If you've never used Spotify for Artists, we recommend reviewing their label onboarding guide, as well as their website, which provides a great overview of the platform and its features.

How do I sign up as a label?

1. Sign up to Spotify for Artists as a label team here.

2. Select Label Team Member, then search for your label name:

   

3. If your label team does not already exist, select Create New Team (if another member of your organisation has already created your label team, they can invite you through the admin portal, so a new registration is not required).
4. You will be asked to enter and verify your email address using a code sent to your inbox. Ideally, this should be an email address using your label's custom domain. If you do not have a custom domain, the email address you use should be visible on the social media profiles you provide during the application.
5. Once your email has been verified, complete your personal details and click Next. You will then be asked to verify your catalogue by providing three Spotify track or release URIs.

Verification typically takes up to three days after your application has been submitted.

How do I link sub-labels to my main S4A account?

If you distribute multiple sub-labels through LabelWorx and would like them linked to your Spotify for Artists account, please contact our support team, including the email address associated with your Spotify for Artists account and the names of the sub-labels you would like linked.

NOTE: All requested labels must be distributed to Spotify by LabelWorx and be accessible under the same LabelWorx label group.

How do I sign up as an artist-owned label?

If you are an artist who also runs a label, first claim your label profile by following the steps in the How do I sign up as a label? section above. You can then use the Add Artist option to claim your artist profile from within your label account.

How do I sign up as an artist or artist manager?

1. Sign up to Spotify for Artists as a label team here.
2. Select Artist or Manager , then search for your artist name.
3. Follow the verification process to claim your profile.

Once your application has been approved, you'll have access to your Spotify for Artists profile, and a Registered Artist label will appear in the About section of your Spotify artist profile.
