If you need to change an artist name on your release, follow one of the three appropriate options below:
A) UPDATING AN ARTIST NAME ON A DRAFT RELEASE
If you have not set their release to Final, you can choose another artist from our database by clicking into the relevant Display Artist field at the release-level and/or track-level.
B) UPDATING AN ARTIST NAME ON A SINGLE FINALISED RELEASE
To update a single instance of an artist name on a release that you have set to Final, please contact our support team. We need to notify the stores of any updates to artist names.
C) UPDATING AN ARTIST NAME ON ALL RELEASES THEY APPEAR ON
To update an artist name on all releases that they appear on under your label group (e.g. if the artist is rebranding or you selected an incorrect artist of the same name), please use the Replace tool.
