If you want to remove releases from neighbouring rights collection by Lime Blue Music, it’s important to understand the options and the information we’ll need to process your request.
Types of Removal
End-Dating: If your label did own the rights, the preferred method is to provide the exact date your agreement ended. Lime Blue will stop collection from this date forward, preserving previous royalty payments.
Full Removal: Full removal should only be requested if your label never owned the rights to the releases in question. For example, if the tracks were non-exclusively licensed and you never had rights to claim royalties, removal is appropriate. Please note that completely removing tracks retroactively can lead to negative adjustments in royalty payments. Societies may reclaim money already paid out as part of upcoming distributions if rights are relinquished from inception.
