Short-form videos have seen a meteoric rise in recent years and are generating 50 BILLION daily views on YouTube alone. Engagement with this format is helping artists increase their channel’s audience by up to 80% on average. It’s a great way to introduce your music and your brand to a new audience using snackable video content that connects to a bigger story.
We are opening up the LabelWorx YouTube & TikTok channels to support selected short-form videos submitted by labels as part of their marketing pitch. By attaching a video to your DSP pitching form, our team will review and if it follows our content guidelines, we will share it on or after release day as clip on the LabelWorx YouTube & TikTok channels.
Shorts are 15-60-second vertical videos and as long as they grab the viewer’s attention, the content is really up to you. The best videos are personal; engaging, and don’t need to be well-produced. As long as the content is interesting, a raw unplanned video captured on your phone will often be more successful than one which is overly promotional and edited professionally.

✅ A Day In the Life - what else do you do other than make music? Show your fans who you are, what you do, and where you come from!
✅ Story Time - tell your fans the story behind the music. What inspired you? Was it a collab with another artist? Share an interesting insight that brings the music to life.
✅ Live Footage - got a clip of the crowd going wild to the track? Let us share it!
✅ Be Personal - use this as an opportunity to talk to your fans directly, let them know what the track means to you, and that you appreciate their support.
✅ Be Original - use your imagination to create something funny, memorable, or unique that will get people talking about you and your music!
❌ No Static Artwork or Visualisers - videos created using static artwork or other visualizer effects will not be accepted.
❌ Original File Only - videos downloaded from other platforms featuring watermarks (e.g TikTok) will not be accepted.

- Video must be attached when submitting the pitching form for our marketing team.
- One Shorts video submission per release.
- Successful videos will be posted on the LabelWorx YouTube channel on or after the release date specified on the submission form.
- Successful submissions are at the discretion of our marketing team and any videos that do not meet the content guidelines will not be used.
