New Feature - Fans
TIDAL now introduces a new feature to their Artist Home, Fans—the place to understand your listeners. Discover the TIDAL tunes that have performed the best, the average age of your listeners, and the most popular territories within your audience. Make changes to your fan engagement and connection strategies using this data.
How do I access Fans?
Navigate to artists.tidal.com and, if you are associated with multiple artists, select the artist you’d like to start with. On their profile, you will now see a new tab titled “Fans” with a ‘new’ banner next to it. Once selected, you’ll see the three new categories: Age of Listeners, Top Countries, and Top Tracks.
Each category can be adjusted by the following time periods:
- Last Week
- Last month
- Last 6 months
- Last 12 months
- All time
Why is this data useful?
Age of Listeners
If an artist released a single within the last month, view the age of their listeners within that time period to inform your artist’s future marketing campaigns.
Top Countries
If an artist is considering doing an international tour next year, ‘Top Countries’ to help inform their understanding of their fans’ geographic locations.
Top Tracks
If an artist wants to understand which of their tracks is resonating with TIDAL listeners (that’s likely different from other platforms), they can view their top tracks to see which songs from their catalogue are performing on TIDAL.
