In certain situations (e.g. a sub-label being acquired by a new owner), you may need to request an internal label transfer to move a sub-label to a new/different label group within the LabelWorx system. Please note that there is an admin charge of 5 credits for this procedure.
- The 'current' label group owner and the 'new' label group owner contact us and confirm an agreed date for the transfer (this must be at the end of a month for accounting purposes).
- If the 'new' label group owner hasn't already, they will need to sign up on our system for their own account. Once their contract is returned, we can arrange the transfer for the specified date.
- On this date, we would transfer all content for that sub-label over to the 'new' label group account and the sub-label would then be fully up up running on our system with all previous content and store deliveries set up.
IMPORTANT: Any royalties received and processed by LabelWorx prior to the switch will be accounted to the old label group and any royalties processed after the switch date will be accounted to the new label group.
