Don't worry too much about having an over-elaborate press release to accompany your promo. Let the music do the talking. Often DJs receive a lot of promos and they are unlikely to read a long press release.
There can be exceptions to this rule though, if you are sending promos to the press, then they will most likely appreciate a bit more of a press release attached.
Essentially, tailor your press release/description to who you are sending it.
