Accelerate - Release Info Form

This article covers how to complete your Release Info Form for the Accelerate team.

We will provide you with a unique Release Info Form link for your label. You must use this unique link every time you submit a release. The form gathers all pertinent information for your release, allowing you to share everything the team needs in one place and reducing the need for additional emails.

If we are providing a contracting service, your contracts will be sent out shortly after you complete this form. If you're not using our contracts or royalties services, don't be alarmed if you don't see some of the fields shown in the video. To save you time, we only collect the information we need.

Written instructions for each page of the form are included below the video, but if you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to reach out to: accelerate@labelworx.com

Page 1: About the Release

This is the product-level page for your release (you will add track-level information later).

Please include the project title and main artist name.

If we are providing a contracts service for your label and you don't require a contract for this release, please let us know here.

If your release is a compilation, let us know here. The artist field will disappear as your release will be attributed to Various Artists.

The general release date is your main release date outside of an exclusive period for a download store (for example, Beatport).

If you select an exclusive release period for a store from the dropdown, the date for this will be added automatically based on your general release date.

Please add as much information as possible to the description field. If you don't have the full picture yet, you can share additional details later.

Your P and C line will be pre-populated with your label name. Please update it as required.

Page 2: Default Deal Terms

The percentage you provide as your Label Standards will pre-populate the royalty rate field. Amend this if required. You can also change the royalty rate at track level later in the form.

Select the contract term for this release and let us know if you are signing publishing.

The advanced deal splits field displays your Label Standards. Update these if they differ for this release.

Page 3: Licensors

Complete the information for all licensors associated with this release and, where applicable, let us know if any of them require an advance or a dedicated remix contract.

If every track uses the same splits, select Yes at the bottom of the page and enter them once. They will then be automatically applied to every track. If you select No, you'll need to add splits individually for each track on the next page.

Select each licensor in the splits table using the licensor number (1, 2, 3, etc.) shown next to their first name. Add the master splits (these must total 100%) and, if you are signing publishing, the writer splits (these do not need to total 100%).

Page 4: Track List

Add all track-level information here and follow the instructions for each field.

Add all artists who will be tagged on your release, along with their relevant roles (Primary Artist, Featuring Artist, etc.), your Beatport genre, and TikTok timestamp information. Our team will also advise you on best practices for tagging artists.

If your deal terms differ for any track, you can add that information at the bottom of each track listing. You can also specify different licensor splits for individual tracks here.

Page 5: Summary

We will send a copy of your responses to the email address you provide here.

You can also leave any additional notes you would like to share with the team.
