Premium Music Video (PMV) is a new service from Facebook currently being launched in the US. This means that Music videos will now be published directly to the Videos section of artist Pages.
It's currently restricted to the US territories but with the aim of launching this globally in the not-too-distant future.
We can deliver your Premium Music Videos directly to Facebook on your behalf. All PMVs delivered to Facebook will be monetised under your distribution agreement with LabelWorx.
HOW TO DISTRIBUTE PMV TO FACEBOOK
As this is a manual process, you do not upload your videos to the Label Worx LMS. You simply need to complete the following form with the relevant details and our support team will deliver your PMV to Facebook.

Do I need to do anything on my artists' Facebook Page?
Yes, you will need to "opt-in" to PMVs on your artists' page. using Facebook, go to:
Page Settings > Music Videos > Add Music Videos To My Page
After clicking the Add Music Videos to My Page button, make sure you tick the box next to the Automatically share all new music videos to your Page’s timeline setting. Sharing an artist’s new music videos to their timeline can help people discover the artist’s videos in their News Feed and ultimately bring those viewers to their Page.
Do I need to do anything in the LabelWorx LMS?
No, from your submission our support team will build any relevant product in your release list for you. We will match this as closely as possible to the "original" audio release but will differentiate the Mix Name and Catalog Number.
This will then appear as a "deleted" release in your release list. This is purely so that the metadata is locked and cannot be edited. Sales will then be reported back onto that version of the release allowing you to clearly see the relevant sales.
What if I have already uploaded my video to Facebook separately?
Unfortunately, your video will remain separate and will not be merged with the new PMV delivery. Both versions of the video will exist. No views or comments can be merged.
What will happen if there are multiple artists on the PMV track?
PMVs will only be published to one primary artist page. If a PMV has equal billing between two or more artists, the PMV will be published on the Page of the first artist listed.
